The basic accelerator components of the blend may be harmful if swallowed and can cause eye/skin irritation.
Handling & Personal Protection Ensure good ventilation and avoid creating dusty atmosphere. In case of eye or skin contacts wash out with clean water for at least 15 minutes. Obtain medical advice urgently. If swallowed, seek immediate medical assistance
Storage Store at room temperature in a cool, dry and well ventilated place. Avoid exposure of the packaged material / product to direct sunlight & heat.

Pilcure F is a semi-ultra fast accelerator blend for NR, SBR, BR, NBR and other highly unsaturated diene rubbers. It readily disperses in rubber compounds, and has been specially formulated to avoid grit formation on prolonged storage. Pilcure F has a long curing range and is very active above 115°C. Pilcure F gives fast curing characteristics for polyisoprene rubber (e.g. NR) based compounds. At equal dosages in NR, Pilcure F is less scorchy than MBT and exhibits almost similar or slightly faster cure rate and higher state of cure as compared to MBT or MBTS and hence the stress-strain properties of the vulcanizates are also superior. Thus, Pilcure F can be used as a single accelerator for rubber compounds where faster curing rates are desired.

Normal dosages of Zinc oxide and Stearic acid are necessary as cure activators for Pilcure F. Pilcure F accelerator based cure systems can be further boosted using small proportions of TMTM / TMTD to improve the rate of cure with considerable compromise on scorch and reversion resistance particularly if dithiocarbamate accelerators are used as boosters. Pilcure F accelerator based systems can be retarded by using small proportions of Pilgard PVI or other acid retarders. Stearic acid also acts as an effective retarder and improves flow-properties of the rubber compounds during molding operations. Pilcure F is a better choice for the manufacture of white/colored products as compared to thiazole class accelerators alone.
Pilcure F and its combinations with booster accelerators are widely used in NR, SBR, NR-SBR / BR blends, NBR based rubber compounds used for the manufacture of rubber products such as cycle tyres (black " colored), footwear products, hot air cured rubber products, cables, rubber rollers, ebonites etc.
